Metal Wick Trimmer

A perfect candle tool to keep close by for trimming pillar candle wicks.  A small debris catching tray catches the excess cut wick, preventing it from falling back into the candle. Ergonomic shape makes reaching and trimming wicks a breeze. 

Maintain your pillar candle wick by trimming it down to 1/4 inch. Keeping beeswax candle wicks trimmed of excess length results in a cleaner, longer and safer candle burn. It also reduces soot emissions and discolouration of glass.

Before lighting a beeswax pillar candle, trim wick to ¼ inch. While candle is burning, keep wick trimmed to ¼ inch for optimal performance. (This applies to larger diameter beeswax pillar candles, e.g., any size over 2 inches.) See the "Care" page for tips on how to care for your beeswax candles.
